Where Performance Meets Purpose

Back in 2018, I was sitting in a cookie-cutter big-box gym watching people go through the motions - same machines, same routines, zero results. That's when it hit me: Vancouver needed something different. Something real.

The Beginning

I'd spent nearly a decade coaching college athletes and working with pros, and honestly, I was frustrated. The gap between what elite athletes were doing and what regular folks had access to was ridiculous. Everyone deserves coaching that's actually tailored to them, not some one-size-fits-all BS.

So I started Thalrion Continuum in a small 1,200 square foot space with three barbells and a dream. The name? It's about the continuous journey we're all on. There's no finish line in fitness - you're always evolving, always adapting. That's the continuum we're all part of.

How We've Grown

2018
The Launch

Started with 12 clients who were willing to trust a new approach. We focused on movement quality over everything else - if you can't move well, you can't perform well. Simple as that.

2020
The Pivot

Yeah, we all know what happened. But instead of shutting down, we took everything online and learned a ton about coaching remotely. Turns out, you can build serious strength with minimal equipment if you know what you're doing.

2022
The Expansion

Moved to our current spot on Burrard - 4,500 square feet of properly equipped training space. Added Olympic lifting platforms, a dedicated mobility area, and brought on three more coaches who actually get it.

2024
The Evolution

Launched our sports-specific programs and started working with competitive athletes across multiple disciplines. Brought in advanced body composition tech and partnered with some killer nutritionists who don't push fad diets.

2025
Today

We're now coaching over 200 athletes and everyday people who just want to feel better in their bodies. Our team's grown to six full-time coaches, and we've helped folks hit PRs they never thought possible.

Look, credentials matter - we've got 'em. But what really matters is that every coach here has walked the walk. We've competed, we've failed, we've rebuilt ourselves. We know what it takes because we've done it.

Between us, we've coached everyone from weekend warriors to national-level competitors. We've worked with folks recovering from injuries, people who haven't exercised in years, and athletes chasing podiums. The common thread? Everyone gets treated like they matter, because they do.
